Position Summary
Position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and execution of the marketing strategies to drive profitable revenue growth along with the goals of strong brand development and clear market positioning and communications. Position is also responsible for providing vision, leadership and execution of the technology strategies to support share growth as well as internal business process efficiencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Evaluates effectiveness of current marketing initiatives and leads the design of marketing and branding strategies that increase market share and visibility with target customers

Utilizes Organizational Operating Model tools such as segmentation and Voice of Customer to identify customer and consumer needs with products and go to market strategies

Collaborates with internal groups and external vendors to leverage market research, business intelligence and customer analytics that drive marketing effectiveness and ultimately deliver customer retention and profitable share growth

Leads market research initiatives and competitive intelligence efforts to better understand organization position, better understand competitor profiles and develop sustainable strategies that support organization objectives

Develops the digital and other technology marketing strategies to reinforce the Batesville brand

Provides oversight of the technology initiatives to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of internal technology processes, including tools and data security

Other duties may be assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in marketing communications; and a minimum of 10 years related marketing and/or technology experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in marketing and technology. MBA preferred.
