Position Summary
The Manager, Technology Inside Sales is primarily responsible for the strategy, tactics and management of the Inside Sales team for Technology Solutions. This includes the hiring and professional development of the employees, managing the sales process, delivering sales results to plan, and driving the utilization of our CRM system. This position will also work with Marketing to determine the need for campaigns and other marketing activities to drive leads into sales. Additionally, this position will have a hands-on sales role with customers, including key prospects and current strategic accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Lead the Technology Inside Sales Team and ensure execution of the strategy to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Provide input into the development of Technology Solutions strategy and annual business plan and budgeting processes.
- Ensure sales pipeline remains full with qualified leads and prospects and aligned with implementation pipeline to accurately set customer expectations.
- Monitor employee productivity, motivate and develop team, and present results to monthly goals.
- Manage, evaluate, and improve Technology Solutions inside sales and sales administrative process.
- Provide coaching for new and existing Sales associates.
- Understand and manage relationship between Technology and the Batesville Sales teams to ensure alignment and goals achievement.
- Present the vision of our technology continuum to key prospects and strategic accounts.
- Close technology sales with key prospects and strategic accounts that align with company initiatives and goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.S. / B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Marketing, Business, Sales or related field; and a minimum of five to seven years related Sales or Sales Management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Experience
Required Skills/Experience:
- Microsoft Office skills
- Solution selling process
- Working knowledge of recent business technology, such as various accounting software
- Working knowledge of consumer technology, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Personnel management and employee development.
- Funeral industry sales.
- Sales management and CRM system.
- Software sales.
Travel
Employee must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
