Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and engraving urns
- Inspect urns to ensure they meet exceptional quality standards
- Responsible for accurate order fulfillment and inventory control
- Complete general administrative and warehouse duties as directed
- Engrave custom orders (laser or mechanical engravings, or sand blasting) and prepare for shipment
- Maintain and trouble shoot engraving equipment
- Maintain all daily reports and reporting
- Interact and communicate with Batesville-based Options associates and Options customers
- Other duties may be assigned
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Be able to make quality judgments and handle all inventory issues, poor quality, correct inventory counts
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- 1 to 3 years related work experience and/or training
- Knowledge of programs such as Coral Draw 10.
