Position Summary
Responsible for reviewing, reconciling, processing and storage of all invoices paid for the company. Responsibilities could also include processing billings and calculation of monthly commissions for Batesville Technology Solutions (BTS). This position interacts with outside vendors/customers as well as various departments within the company. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Process invoices for payment and back-file accurately/timely maximizing all applicable discounts
  • Process employee expense reports via Certify (automated processing) or paper reports. 
  • Reconcile payment discrepancies for internal/external customers/vendors.  Involves responding to customers/vendors phone calls, voice messages and emails.
  • Calculate monthly commissions for BTS customers along with processing year-end payout.
  • Complete monthly billings and reporting responsibilities for BTS.
  • Back-up support for key department functions
  • Other duties may be assigned

Education
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Accounting or 6 months to 1 year(s) related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Intermediate experience with typing and data entry
  • Basic experience Microsoft Office  (Word, Excel)

 

Preferred Skills /Experience

  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Basic experience with ERP or Accounting systems (e.g. JD Edwards)
