Compliance Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Ethics and Compliance Support
• Execute key anti-bribery & corruption processes across Hillenbrand, including third party intermediaries, tracking/risk assessment/screening, and workflow management on Third Parties
• Execute the compliance training plan, including preparing materials, ensuring that they are delivered to all associates, tracking completions, and following up on past due employees
• Execute investigation tracking and reporting, including following up to ensure that investigations are completed timely and that corrective actions are tracked and completed timely.
• Maintain and drive the action item list for the Compliance Department, coordinate with team members to ensure that required items are completed on a timely basis, and report status to management as needed to assist in timely completion.
• Prepare analysis as required for governance reporting – including analysis on the above items for quarterly Ethics & Compliance Committee meetings and Hillenbrand Board of Directors Audit Committee meetings
• Assist with execution of risk assessments
• Implement and execute compliance monitoring and testing to assure that key controls are being executed correctly
• Assist in policy/procedure drafting and maintain the library of policies and procedures for ethics and compliance
• Conduct live training as directed
• Other duties may be assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
Education/Skills/Experience
• Either (a) a Law Degree + 1-3 years of experience; (b) a Bachelors + 3-5 years of experience or (c) a Para-Legal degree + 5-7 years of experience
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities are a must
• Experience doing analysis on business problems
• Experience in program management
• Familiar with Compliance Processes or FCPA/UK Bribery Act
• Experience in monitoring or testing a plus
