Position Summary
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of the recruitment cycle for exempt, non-exempt and sales positions while achieving all recruitment metrics.  This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Corporate Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring the organization hires the best possible talent.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Manage full lifecycle recruitment (sourcing to hire) to meet organizational hiring metrics
  • Develop a strong understanding of our brand and our brand image in the marketplace, effectively communicate that information to prospective candidates, and successfully identify individuals who will be successful within our organization
  • Develop and execute recruitment plans for open positions as established with the Hiring Manager utilizing standard processes
  • Attract and proactively identify active and passive candidates through direct sourcing, social media, job boards and/or other sources
  • Diagnose key issues and challenges during the recruiting process and work with hiring managers to effectively drive them to resolution
  • Build relationships and maintain a presence within community, associations, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media and internet sites to establish a talent pool for future openings
  • Research, analyze and recommend the latest recruitment sources and trends for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Support college recruiting efforts by participating in Campus Recruiting Team and/or Batesville Internship program
  • Assist with providing coaching, support and guidance to junior team members
  • Other duties may be assigned.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
 
Travel
Travel is not required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a college or university in Human Resources, Business, or related field; and a minimum of 5 years recruiting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Human Resources.   
 
Skills/Experience
Required skills and experience:
  • Advanced experience with recruitment lifecycle
  • Intermediate experience with an Applicant Tracking System (e.g. Taleo, Peopleclick)
  • Intermediate experience sourcing candidates via internet and/or job search boards
  • Intermediate experience sourcing candidates via social media (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office required.
 
Preferred skills and experience:
  • Advanced experience with corporate (non-agency/staffing provider) recruitment
  • Advanced experience working with senior management
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
